Hi, and welcome! My name is Harmony McMillan. I originally created this blog as an outlet for professional growth related to technology integration, as well as part of a requirement for ED 834. Now, it is being revived as a platform for my reflections and growth throughout ED 831. I am currently working towards my Masters Degree in Education (Curriculum and Instruction). I am glad for the opportunity to grow in my understanding of all things technology related, and equally grateful to share the learning process with others. I am hopeful that this collection of reflections, links, videos and personal work will be practical and thought-provoking to readers.
In no particular order, I am a student of life, a teacher, athlete, Christ-follower, proud Aunty, little sister, coach, faithful Rider fan, chocolate and coffee fean, music-lover, reader, Roger Federer freak, and adventure-seeker! I spend my days with a crew of energetic, enthusiastic Grade 6 students at Jack MacKenzie School in Regina, Saskatchewan. I am challenged to make the most of my days, and I frequently remind myself of this pursuit with this quote from Erma Bombeck:
“When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, ‘I used everything you gave me.”
